This project involves the construction of a 600,000-ton-per-year Direct Reduced Iron (DRI) HIsmelt plant for the Jianlong Group, located in Wuhai City, Inner Mongolia. Undertaken by HBMER, the EPCO turnkey contractor, this initiative underscores our leadership in the global DRI sector. HBMER stands as China''''''''s only EPCO contractor with comprehensive in-house capabilities spanning from ore beneficiation and pelletizing to all major coal-based and hydrogen-based DRI technologies.

We provide full EPCO services, from initial mine reporting and market analysis through to detailed engineering design, construction, and commissioning, completing the entire process within an 18-month schedule. The plant is designed to process iron ore with a typical grade of TFe ≥ 55%, SiO₂ ≤ 7%, Al₂O₃ ≤ 5%, and P ≤ 0.175%. The primary fuel specified for the process is pulverized coal or bituminous coal, requiring a Higher Heating Value (HHV) of no less than 6,000 kcal/kg. The total capital investment for the project amounted to approximately RMB 1.4 billion. Upon completion, its outstanding execution was recognized with a provincial-level excellence award.
