In Yangquan, Shanxi, a twin-shaft kiln project constructed by HBMER has been put into operation. The kiln adopts a rotating seal, upper and lower hoppers, and a single-layer kiln structure, which is designed to better suit local conditions and optimize costs. It also offers strong fuel adaptability, supporting various gaseous, solid, and liquid fuels.
Located in Yangquan City, Shanxi Province, the twin-shaft kiln covers an area of 4,800 ㎡ (60×80 meters) with a total investment of 70 million RMB. It has a designed production capacity of 2×600 tons per day and utilizes a dual-chamber alternating combustion and preheating technology to achieve high thermal efficiency. Based on pre-project ore analysis and raw material testing, the limestone used contains 53.5% CaO, 0.8% Si, and 0.4% MgO, with pulverized coal or gas selected as the fuel.
The EPC contract period for this twin-shaft kiln project is 10 months. Upon completion, the kiln has demonstrated high product reactivity and remarkable energy-saving performance, with energy consumption as low as 125 kg of standard coal equivalent per ton of lime.
