600 t/d PFR and PRK Projects Nearing Completion in Guangxi and Shanxi

GUIGANG, Guangxi & YANGQUAN, Shanxi – Two independent 600 tonne-per-day (t/d) twin-shaft regenerative lime kiln and preheater rotary kiln projects are progressing rapidly on schedule, with both expected to achieve first flame and commence commercial operation by late September to early October.

Guangxi Guigang Project
The Guigang installation is advancing at full pace, with mechanical erection and auxiliary system integration well underway. Once operational, the high‑activity lime produced will be shipped to steel mill customers in Fujian, Jiangsu and Hebei provinces – reinforcing the supply chain for high‑grade metallurgical lime in East and North China.

Shanxi Yangquan Project
The Yangquan plant features a 600 t/d preheater rotary kiln, incorporates two major technological upgrades:

  • Third‑generation preheater technology for enhanced thermal efficiency and more uniform material preheating.

  • Low‑NOx high‑efficiency burner to significantly reduce nitrogen oxide emissions while maintaining stable combustion and low fuel consumption.

These innovations deliver tangible improvements in energy conservation, emission reduction and production efficiency – aligning with China’s drive toward greener metallurgical processes.

Both projects are being executed under a full engineering, procurement and construction (EPC) model. Site photos show the steel structures, kiln shells and auxiliary systems largely in place, with final piping, electrical installation and refractory work now being completed.
