During the production of Ductile iron casting parts, hot iron treatment is the most important step, also is the international casting engineers researching and changing content from the invention of the ductile iron. In China, hot metal spheroidizing had gone through three periods: direct throw method, wire feeding method, Inject Mg method. We have Bes-t ductile iron pipe machinery in China.

MER pure Mg Spheroidizing technical features:
a) Spray pistol with vaporizer chamber, pure Mg has been vaporized before into the hot iron, improve pure Mg absorption rate.
b) Broaden the limited of original hot iron content, original hot iron sulfur content up to 0.1%, singly-blowing Mg particle still can carry on desulfuration spheroidizing, and ensuring the stability of spheroidizing quantity, preventing spheroidizing recession (sulfur content below 0.01%). Other spheroidizing can’t up to this technical.
c) Singly-blowing Mg grain can control unit time Mg injection quantity without limited, and Mg will start to response with sulfur from the bottom of hot iron pack, Mg with a high absorptivity, the highest can up to above 85%.
d) Conveying medium is nitrogen (or other inert gas), making the process safety and reliable.
e) Pure Mg can improve hot metal purity, at the same time Mg desulfurization also can deoxidize, pure Mg fir-retardant coating is a kind of thin slag agent, which can reduce melting point of impurity in hot iron, make it up, purifying molten iron further.
f) Temperature descend is small temperature descend at 20-30OC during the total spheroidizing process.
g) Slag quantity is small .hot iron damage is small, as Mg costing is low itself, this process with lowest slag quantity and hot iron damage is lowest in all desulfurization spheroidizing process.
h) with advantage of easy operation, high Mg absorptivity, can treatment hot iron multitudinous, high efficiency.
i) Operation is totally automatic, input the data of hot iron initial sulfur, iron liquid quantity and temperature, and computer automatically counting the Mg costing, finishing total blowing process: related parameter will come into a statement, if customer require, relate reporting data can input in the system, controlling software can testing automatically and alarm to the system, convenient to maintain.
j) Blowing accuracy using proprietary controlling technology, ensuring blowing accuracy deviation below 0.5%, blowing Mg intensity is 1.0-5kg/min, continuous and adjustable.
k) After desulfurization, hot iron can pull out slag immediately, reducing hot iron desulfurization.
